Is there a strong connection between the Goddess and the Virgin Mary?
The Virgin Mary is the feminine aspect of Christianity (well mostly the in Catholic and Orthodox traditions) and venerated as the Heavenly Queen, and she also has similarities with the Triple Goddess; the virgin, mother and old woman.
In my personally beliefs, the Goddess is not dead, she’s still alive even in the old traditional Christian religions, and I hope she does remain alive otherwise we have the aggressive male side of the deity.
